CHAIRMAN BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Ken Igbokwe

Ken is the Chairman Board of Directors of DataGuard. He is also the chairman of Execution Edge Ltd, a management consulting and financial advisory firm. Ken holds a B.Sc. (Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College, London University, which he attended as a Shell scholar and graduated in 1978.

Mr. Igbokwe was Country Senior Partner in PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PWC)Nigeria where he served for 35 years in various capacities before leaving in 2014. He is currently a member of the Lagos State tertiary education board for the Lagos State University.

He is a practicing member of the Institutes of Chartered Accountants England & Wales and Nigeria. He is also a practicing member of the Chartered Institute of  Taxation of Nigeria and the Business Recovery and Insolvency Practitioners Association of Nigeria (BRIPAN)

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Olufemi Ogunjimi

Femi is one of the founding partners of CardinalStone. Femi holds a B.Sc. in Accounting from the University of Lagos, and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining the firm, Femi served as Vice President – Investment Banking Division, Goldman Sachs New York. At Goldman, Femi worked on a variety of transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, equity and debt financing in a wide array of sectors.

Before joining Goldman Sachs, Femi served as a Senior Associate with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Nigeria where he started his professional career. At PricewaterhouseCoopers, Femi worked in the firm’s Audit and Business Assurance, Corporate Finance, and Tax Advisory Divisions.

He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Micheal Nzewi

Mr. Michael Nzewi is one of the Founding Partners of CardinalStone. He currently serves as the CEO of CardinalStone and the Executive Director responsible for Investment Banking.

Prior to this, Mr. Nzewi spent 8 years as executive Director responsible for Proprietary Trading at CardinalStone. Before co-founding CardinalStone, Mr. Nzewi spent 8 years in the London office of Standard Chartered Bank, where he served as a Director in the Global Markets division.

Prior to joining Standard Chartered, Mr. Nzewi served as the pioneer Head of Corporate Finance at Vetiva Capital Management in Lagos, and also worked briefly in the Corporate Finance Division of Access Bank Plc. Michael began his banking career at Investment Banking & Trust Company Limited (Now Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc). Mr. Nzewi holds a B.Sc. in Accounting from the University of Benin, Nigeria; and an MBA from Said Business School, Oxford University, UK. He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

Yewande Zaccheaus

She is the current Managing Director CEO, Eventful Limited. A lawyer by profession, Yewande is a graduate of law from the University of Lagos and LLB from Cambridge University, London. She began her career as a legal officer in the Nigerian-American Merchant Bank and after a brief stint in private practice joined Ecobank Nigeria plc. in 1989 as the pioneer Company Secretary and Legal Adviser.

An alumnus of the Lagos Business School, Yewande sits on the Board of Women in Management and Business (WIMBIZ). She is currently is a board member of Fortress Microfinance bank and Corporate Leisure Limited

She is the 2011 recipient of the prestigious International Women’s Entrepreneurship Challenge Award, an initiative of the Chambers of Commerce of Manhattan, Barcelona, and the foundation of Indian Chambers of Commerce

MANAGING DIRECTOR

James Awojobi

James started his career in 2005 at AXA Mansard Insurance plc, then known as Guaranty Trust Assurance after the management take over and re-engineering done by Guaranty Trust Bank plc. He has at various times over his career managed various business development units involved in a wide range of operations like Telecoms, Health Management Service, Construction & Engineering.

While at AXA Mansard, he structured and arranged commercial insurance transactions for Power & Energy firms, Construction & Engineering firms, and Public Sector organizations. He rose to become the regional and group head (Northern Region)

James holds a B.Sc in Human Physiology from the University of Ilorin. has attended various courses both locally and overseas in Sales & Business Strategy;  Strategic Business Leadership, Team Building, Project Management, Reinsurance & Special Engineering Insurance. He has undergone several professional training at Munich Re, Continental Re, and Africa Re.

James is the pioneer Managing Director at DataGuard Document Management Limited.

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Muhammad K. Ahmad

Muhammad is a non-executive director of DataGuard. He is the current chairman of Polaris Bank Plc. He has a Masters Diploma in Innovation and Strategy from the University of Oxford and has also attended courses and programmes in various first-rate business and management schools, including Harvard Business School, IMD, and INSEAD

Mr. M. K. Ahmad is a seasoned public sector executive with over 35 years of distinguished experience spanning the public sector and the financial services industry. He served as the pioneer Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the National Pension Commission (“PENCOM”) and oversaw the growth of the pension industry in Nigeria from ground zero to a N4.7 trillion Asset Under Management industry.

He was also a pioneer staff of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Company (“NDIC”) where he rose to become a Director. M. K. Ahmad has served on the Board of various companies and committees including banks and non-profit organizations

Motunde Dada

She was the former Managing Director of CardinalStone Registrars Limited . A Lawyer by training, she holds a masters in International Business Studies from the University of South Carolina, Columbia USA

Mrs Motunde Dada was the Managing Director of UAC registrars and also served as the Company Secretary of Vono Products PLC Nigeria. She has over 32 years of relevant experience in the corporate world.

She is also a fellow of the Institute of Capital Market Registrars.

COMPANY SECREATARY

Folashade Dapo

Folashade is a Senior Manager at CCA, and heads the Legal & Investor Relations unit, advising on
transaction structures and due diligence for different investments. She has over 10 years of
experience in corporate law and private equity.
Prior to CCA, Folashade was a Legal Counsel at the Asset and Resource Management holding
company (ARM) in Lagos, and an Associate at Udo-Udoma and Belo-Osagie (UUBO) in Lagos.
Folashade holds an LLB from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
